Default Why does my car suck at high altitude?

I hate high altitude!!!!

The car seems much faster at sea level.

Higher altitude=lower ambient air pressure=less air to the motor.

well less oxygen..thinner air....yeah....just less oxygen mass, therefore more air to burn the same amount of fuel....so the same amt of air in the same amt of cylinder space makes less firing force.

dang tho...thats about what my car'* performance is at my altitude of 650 ft... dunno what to tell yah there!

You may think it sucks at altitude, but it doesn't when compared to a NA at altitude. You can make much better power than a non-sc car in thin air.

I never realized how much altitude affects times like that. My car stock 0-60 was 7.0sec flat, but you were only getting like a sub 8sec 0-60 with mods.
