It does have a timing belt, but it is behind all the accessories. it goes around the crank, then snakes up and around the two cams on one head, then over to the other head. They are recommended to be changed every 60,000 miles.

This car belonged to an old co-worker of mine. The timing belt broke on him, and another co-worker of mine bought the car for about $300 and put a new belt on. He sold it to another co-worker ( who I bought it from ) for $1200 last summer. That guy drove it for awhile, then let his son have it. It developed a bad miss and they just parked it.

I am pretty sure the miss is just a bad coil, but I will know for sure next weekend when I rip it apart for surgery

These engines are NOT fun to work on and are very cramped under the hood. I know, I had the same engine in my '95 Monte Carlo Z34 and I had to change the thermostat.... it was a 6 hour job in the cold winter

Ryan, we found a white SE with the leather interior here yesterday. It'* spotless inside. Front seats are $17 each at the JY. If you can get down here before it gets torn up, you can get a beautiful new interior for that thing, and maybe a bunch of exterior pieces.

you should get them now anyway, if Ryan doesn't want or can't get them, you can still sell for a handsome profit

Yeah, if money wasn't so freaking tight, I would have taken them for my Impala

I want some pics of this for sure :P

I know for sure I would need the seats, front and rear.
headlight switch
I believe the speaker grilles are broke in the doors also, but not very concerned about those, they are covered up and you can't see them anyways, only feel them.

My bumper is in good shape, but I think it was repainted before and the paint is flaking of it. I wouldn't mind a price on that also though

I will get back to you with a list of everything else I might need...... My wife is going to kill me

Don't grab anything just yet, I have to make sure I have the cash for it, but if so, how much do you want for the work???

also, I am sure that we can't make a trip like that any time soon, maybe around spring time, but even that is doubtfull.. is there any way you could store these for me untill I can either pick them up or you guys come out this way again for some BBQ :?:

If we can't work this out, no big deal.... it is only a $300 car :P

I do want those seats though lol

Ryan, you know me and Brian will glady go to the junkyard to gather the stuff.

You just let Brian know and he'll call me for help and I'll go and help him.
