You should always wear your seatbelt. A young guy died here last week when his car spun out going around a corner and went into a ditch up against a tree. It flipped over before hitting the tree. The driver was hanging outside his window because he wasn't wearing his seatbelt when it flipped over. He was pinned between the car and the tree.

You would like to take comfort in their deaths being quick and painless but in reality they experience everything in slow motion.......and suffocate in their own blood while enduring the pain of multiple broken bones and joint damage as well as ruptured organs.

Ditto. I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt. I also can't stand it when people complain about getting a ticket for not wearing their seatbelt...makes no sense to me.

It was a Lincoln Navigator. If you are going to be stupid and run from the law, don't be nearly as stupid as he is/was...

The only people I understand, is people like my grandpa, who is 87 (yes fully functioning and still drives...lead foot too) and the majority of his life in vehicles there were no seat belts. Its a hard habbit for him to break. But he is getting better at remember to put it on, and has no resistance to wearing it.

just my 2 pennies.
