The batteries are wired in series. If one goes bad, you have to test them one at time. Kinda' like old Christmas lights used to be. They say it takes a week and a half to test them all. But usually you only have to check 3-4000 before you find it. GM designed the batterypack for Tesla. It was rumored that Dorman started engineering an aftermarket replacement 2 hours and twenty minutes after GM was awarded the contract.
Only kidding. A good start. Tesla says the batteries should last 100K miles. Don't know if they are warrantied for same. 3 1/2 hours for a 250 mi charge. Curious to hear if the needles spin off of your electric meter during charging.
