That 600 hp Supra is a rice burner, so its probably putting out like 200-250 ft-lbs of torque. HP is basically irrelevant if you dont have the torque to launch your car and suck you into your seat.

The supra definately sounded turbo'd. You can hear the BOV distinctively. I'm sure the torque numbers are low and I doubt it was twin turboed. TT Supras can get stupid fast so don't kid yourselves.

single turbo > twins... just about every crazy serious Supra owner converts to a massive single turbo. the Supra block is more than capable of 1,000 hp

600HP in a Supra is very logical. Those engines are designed to handle HUGE amounts of boost without upgrading much. They are kind of like Skyline engines in a way.

However, 600HP in a Supra would get you easily in the 10'*.

BTW, I'm not saying Supras cant make 600hp they can do well over that. I'm saying the guy in the vid was NOT make 600hp.

I bet this guy got 75 hp from his chip, 50 from the CAI and an additional 20 from the K&N.

when they launched they were even till the mustang got in the higher rpm and he pulled on him like a b**** . if i was the mustang driver i would have asked him after the first race what happen to his 600hp those supra may not launch the best but once their turbos spool up they surpirse meny people even me still. i wonder that made the supra driver think he had 600hp?
