You guys have to get inspections when you own the car? That'* lame. In MD once it'* inspected you can drive it for as long as you own it without reinspection. Granted, passing in MD is a real bitch. One of the three hardest states in the country to pass in, I hear.

Missouri is the hardest state to pass a inspection in. My uncle lived there and he had dime sized spot of rust on his 98 Camaro. They made him fix it.

Yes....in NY you are "supposed" to get the car inspected upon purchase, even if it was just done. However.... let'* just say if the sticker says it'* good for another 10 months....welll...geez officer, I didn't know!

Annual inspections used to be just the regular stuff - brakes, lights, safety things, etc. Now, they hook you up to a computer that is linked right into the NYS DMV to check your emissions... no cheating it either...the computer tells them what car it is on...

I actually recognized the Kings Hwy drive! LOL Too funny! I'm just a bit southeast of you in Seneca County.

Man I miss those long curvy roads. I grew up in Attica Ny (insert any prison jokes) and I lived in the country and could go as fast as you wanted or until the next curve in the road made you slow down.
