Retiring "The Survivor" - Updated Pics
Well most likely within the next month i will be retiring my Bonneville.
I'm looking into buying a 1998 Chevy Blazer 4X4.
Its got a few flaws, but the guy who'* selling it bought it from family who neglected it, and over the past few months he'* put over 2,300 fixing it (transfer case tune up, diff cover, tune-up, egr, map sensor, back window, brand new tires. He'* put a lot of work into making it a nice vehicle again. Its got 125,000miles w/ the 4.3L V6 so i know it will last a while.
And he'* only asking $2500. Bluebook is about $4,000
So as long as everything goes ok with the loan, i will be getting a new car.
Some Pics:

I wont be getting rid of the bonneville, (i love the car too much to sell it :P ) most likely it will just be a backup vehicle, and a car just to have fun with. And if i need extra cash before going to college then i will probably sell it.

Looks nice!
Just keep a eye on the brake lines, there is one in a oddball place that LOVES to rust. I had a '97 S10 that had to have 1/2 of the brake lines replaced due to the awkward location.
Also, make sure he replaces the fuel lines properly, the CSFI system is high pressure compared to others, and is recommended to have factory lines put on when replaced.
Also..... was the Fuel injector unit ever replaced? Also, the 4.3 has problems with LIM gaskets like the S2 3800 does, they are just like the 3800 gaskets, and fail the same way. If I had my old pictures I would show you.

Ya, I'd still go through it. Those Blazers were littered with issues. Here'* a good list of things others have experienced:

Finally got some pics... its not very clean, but thats hard to do in a michigan winter :P

My system fits nicely in the back

The Bad:
The back window got smashed out by the last owners ex, so he duct taped plastic on it, so some tape residue is stuck on there (gotta go buy some goof off)

Front Bumper Trim is broken off, and the lower valance is broken...

A dent on the passenger rear quarter. I have no idea how i'm going to fix that...

All in all i am very pleased with it. It runs great, the remote start is amazing! It is nice to have 4wd around here. It was 2500 well spent.
Some of the mods i have planned:
Fog Lights (thanks to Haro)
VHT for the tails
Black Headlight Covers
Billet Grille
And hopefully w/ my tax refund Bull Bar
