Watched that video again and I really believe those people have no fear of death.
Standing feet away and walking casually across the highway as cars are screaming at them at over 100 mph.

Does that Skyline have the same engine as the Evo ?

No, the Skline is powered by the rb26dett (2.6L I6) with 276 hp and 271ft lbs, stock. The EVO is a 2.0L I4 with the same power. That kind of makes me ask myself "Is there such a thing as a stock Skline?"

I heard that when you buy those Skylines, you can turn the boost way up without messing up anything. Those engines are designed to handle insane amounts of boost and power, and the reason why they don't put out much power stock, is to keep costs down.

in japan there is a 'gentlemen'* agreement' to keep power levels to 276 or so
its not a law, but the manufacturers have been following at least they say they do- a lot of underrated performance suspected
some companies are or are planning on breaking it- like tommy kaira i thidid first i dont know its all my Gran Turismo info it might be right

Yeah, that Skyline might run a ten.

But have you seen the vid on this site of a Hayabusa with NO2 and a big-bore kit? It smoked a 1,000 HP viper like it was nothing. Not 600HP. Not 800HP. 1,000. Pulled on the bastard like it was nothing.

You going to tell me that the V6 in that Skyline pulls more torque than the V-10 in the Viper, even with at least 1 turbo in the Skyline? No way, man, no way. He'* racing a stock 'Busa and I'm glad he won, but a modded 'Busa will take just about anything on the road. The only issue is how ballsy the rider is. That'* why you can make cars run 7'* with not as much problem for the driver... 4 wheels.

Give that 'Busa some nos, a bored-out engine, and a wheelie bar, and we'll see who wins the rematch against that Skyline.

From a ricer roll, yes. Please find me a video of an actual 1/4 mile run, featuring a Hayabusa with nawwzzz or whatever else it has done to it racing from a stop to 1,320 feet (without a wheelie bar mind you).

Face it everyone. Both these vehicles are insanely quick. To compare a turbocharged crotch rocket to a boosted awd tuner is quite rediculous. They are both very VERY FAST.

the 'busa was not even trying, if you watch close you'll see the light on the 'busa rise, than quickly drop again as he get'* off it, probally scared himself. you've got to be a damn good rider(or a damn fool) to run a busa WOT
