I think I heard somewhere that he was running a SBC in that one, to me it sounds like a v8 when he fired it up aswell. But you never know. I am a huge fan of the 3.8SFI-Turbo. Man it is just amazing when you see them run first hand.
Far as I know, Chris Chow is still running the original block the car started with, but that may have changed, since this video was made several years ago.

As shown in that video at over 1000 hp, it'* still a 3.8 stock block. I highly doubt Chris would install a SBC in his car.

I've seen a couple wheelie-stands at the dragstrip.

I would willingly trade both my cars for a GN in decent running condition.

Very sad sight I've seen...

4 GN'* at a local car show. Most I've ever seen in my life. Two are completely stock, two are modified. The one that is modified is super clean, woman in her late 30'* early 40'* and it runs 11'*. Awesome.

Other one is apparently owned by some slop. First thing I noticed walking up was a HUGE eBay intercooler. I'm thinking awesome buttt it was held up by zip ties and the entire car was ghetto. Drilled into the dash for a tach and stuff like that. Crap all over the place inside. My heart was broken I wanted to beat the crap out of the owner.

There'* a GN here in town that makes me want to slap the sh*t out of the stupid undeserving b*tch that owns it. The thing has so much rust on it, it'* getting ready to lose the pass. door.
I first saw it about five years ago, and the rust was confined to the very bottom edge of the doors, now the thing has holes in the doors, rockers, fenders, and the roof is rusted over completely. I know that someone on a local club offered her $3,000 for it two years ago, and she turned him down. Now, it'* completely beyond help.
