Default My other ryde is a VDub

So here'* my dunebuggy made from a 1974 vw superbettle and some other beetles/buses. It took 3 years on and off to get to this stage, never realized it was this much work, cant even think how many hours went into it but I knows it was alot!!! spent many nights working from 5 to 12 on it. here'* the specs and some pics from the build. hope ya likes it! Please comment!

Specs:
- shortened 12 inches then a stranded bug
- Hand built from the ground up
- 2 1/2 inch rollbars
- 3 inch main body bar and bumpers
- chevy tracker seats
- 1974 vw 1600cc superbettle engine around 70-75 hp, dual port, with case savers.
- aluminum valve covers
- 1969 vw 1300cc 4 speed stranded, swing axle transaxle
- 200mm flywheel
- 1964 vw bus reduction boxes, custom laydown adapter
- 1969 Kingpin front end
- Hercules 33x12x15 tires on the rear
- Crager rims "got the front ones, needs adapters"
- chevette steering column
- 4 BAJA Desert fox 55w rooflights
- 2 100w Driving lights
- 12 volt alternator
- 5 gallon gas tank
- Rpm Gauge, Oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge, volt gauge
- oil pressure light, alt light
- rear round brake/park lights
- custom sheet metal body pannles
- custom paint "fire red, gloss black, and sliver
- raised torsion bars
- custom 1/4 inch steel skid plate
- ractive steering wheel
- gas rear shocks
- front gas shocks
- raised shock towers
- rear meshed in engine compartment
- 13 inch front ground clearance
- 16 inch rear ground clearance
- custom dual cherry bomb mufflers with custom tips
- airplane style upper switch console

Things to come:
- Painted dash
- custom airbox
- seat belts
- front skidplate
- backup lights
- toe bar
- rear hitch receiver
- rear brakes
- behind seat storage box
- new axle boots
- front wheel adapters
- later on a removable windshield

when we gets it all finished we are getting it licensed to use it on the road, not too much more to do with it. single lights, hand brake, windshield and wiper, seat belts, and rear brakes and a fue more little things

Id do that... and then smile at all the others in BMWs and Mercedes Benz... then click the key fob and let the security system arm with a couple "chirps" and walk away laughing underbeath
