we had a white 93 also,,,, auto though,,, put a chip in it and thing thing ran low 15'* in the 1/4 mile if memory serves.
I do remember a bunch of torque steer though.
put 100,000 trouble free miles on that car,,,, only lost an alternator cuz the wife drove down a flooded street and GM'* lovely idea of the cooling duct finished the rest.
miss that car after seeing this thread !!!!!

He used a Getrag 284. Very nice write up. That is a car that was forgot about by the masses. I had a 95 Grand Am GT with the 3.1 and could only get a 14.7, so a Grand Prix running that is very good. What are your future plans for the Lumina?

The Lumina Z34 is one of my favorite cars. I just don't know what GM was thinking putting that hideous red interior into a black car. A dye job is a must!

I always liked the red interiors in those cars myself. I had a euro lumina with the gray interior and hated it in comparison, it showed every spec of dirt. It grows on you... however if a black/charcoal interior was available I'd have that.
as for future plans I don't know for sure, probably just enjoy it for the most part. I have a 2.5' stainless steel catback exhaust setup in the basement waiting to go on next spring, just need to choose some mufflers yet. I may change up wheels again if I find something that I like.

Chris,
Are you parting out the white Z34? Do you know of any Z34'* being parted out? I have a 1993 red Chevy lumina Euro. I'm currently on a quest to purchase/fit a Z34 Hood, side skirts, trunk lid with spoiler. I've been the original owner. I wanted to spruce up the exterior. My interiors are leather red/white. thank you for any help that you can provide.
