Half Life 2 is known for its incredible detail to real world physics. Some kid uses this to create an in game domino set. Probably only cool to those familiar with the game.

I liked DR Beamen getting squached. Too bad over all the it should of been called 1/2 1/2 life for the way it played. The people who though up STEAM should be boiled alive!

Steam was a very good invention. I think at least. CS rules

But you can't even play it single player without signing up and whatnot. I'm not an online gamer. I suck too bad. But I wanted to try out the single player missions. No go, if you're not willing to get up yet another e-mail gnerating online account....

Noah man your not understanding Steam. Steam is like AOL you use multiple things to get a result with online play. Steam is what'* used when yu just want to go online. The name'* of the games are Condition zero,Half life,Half life 2. Those titles are single player(missions) Steam is whats for playing agianst other people only. Same maps used but with everyone being a actual person and not a Robot.

HL will not work w/o steam acct "." You HAVE to be able to go online to keep it up.
So next year when I deploy if the lap top I take it on has a issue or steam times out no more HL till I get back. Thats BS. Plus I have to kill my firewall to get it to work.
Steam was 1st and formost a antihack measure.

I have never shut my firewall off while playing online CS. I use zone alarm I shut all other prgrams off and only allow HL and CZ through. Never have had a prob with latency issue'* or lag in a big server.
