well both of those went boom...

The last few times I have seen the bottom end of a ford engine I was not all that impressed..

But he did go pretty quick until the rod droped out...

I have seen the bottom end of a few ford engines... The old 302 and 351'* seemed alright to me...

I was supprised the first time I saw a 3800 Rod... Even the stock chevy rods seemed to have more meat to them than the for rods...

Saw a 4.0 twice, both had blown up... The bottom end looked like a 3.0 bottom end... Both were 60* V6'*... I couldn't believe that the rods were that skinny in a Truck engine...

I'll agree, I do like V8 'stangs. I just love the exhaust note on some of them. Hell, that could have been a Camaro pushing 600ish horses on a stock bottom end, he could have dropped a rod too. Just cause one or two guys don't know how to correctly modifiy their engines without destroying them, doesn't mean all V8'* made by Ford sucks. I don't mean to be a party pooper or anything, it was funny so see that guys face when he figured out his car is dead.

And Auroradude, get a better attitude before you get the boot.

Even tho it was a Ford Cobra, its rear end couldve handled the power, just the moron didnt compensate on the engine for the */C.

Have to agree there.... Thats a lot of force to be puttin on a stock rod/piston assembly... I wonder how far he reved that sucker? Sounded like he was in the red to me ears when it let go
