Remanufactured 302 Longblock, hasn't been fired up since it was rebuilt. Thats a $1300 motor, dad practically stole it at 1k less

He sent in the 289 heads to be ported and polished, and since they are the same as the 302 heads those will go on the 302. He already sold the heads that came with the 302. And the 289 will be going to the same guy.
That is to bad that 289 is a better motor than that 302.And please dont paint purple stripes on a nice looking burgandy car....
Purple stripes aren't coming until the car is painted Pearl White, Burgundy /w purple stripes would look bleh

My dad'* policy is: There is no replacement for displacement. , So the 302 is better for him. Seriously though, he has ad a few problems after two rebuilds that have not gone away, and he found this 302 cheap so hopefully he has no problems with it. Its all for fun.

Though he is building a 428 Cobra Jet, Short Block is complete.

Keep it burgandy.Not white with purple stripes.Looks more like an original color for the car.
