I just have stock ratio rockers with roller-tips. I think they are Crane, not really sure. I got a real good price on my covers too, $30 shipped but they looked like **** when I got them. I probably have 12+ hours in them just in sanding...

Just a little update...still slugging it out on the '87 Camaro'* issues. But, I did manage a pair of cylinder heads, so the project has progressed to this point this morning:

Looks good. Only thing I can say is that your thermostat housing is probably going to leak. I have the same one but I plan to sand blast the chrome off where the hose hooks up.

Thanks for the warning. I'm not too thrilled with the fit of that waterneck (also it doesn't have the locking mechanism to hold the thermostat in place.) I guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a stock Ford housing while cruising junkyards.

I'm not a big fan of chromed out motors, I like the look of cast aluminum or polished aluminum over chrome.

I dont see the water neck having a problem. I ran the same neck on mine for 5 years now on the O ring and it never leaked once. I am in the process of updating my Ranchero with a different manifold, aluminum radiator, and a front suspension rebuild. Watch for a thread in the coming months.
