I'm sure you guys are all Honda lovers out there
but hey, watch it anyways if you're bored. It'* 11 minutes, yes I went overboard with stupid crap but hey, I did this at 2:30 in the morning. I was so happy to work on a car again, even though its sort of a POS haha. Also it was nice to challenge myself into seeing if I can do make something from almost nothing.
BTW, in that crazy tangled web of intake in the prelude, we found a K&N cone filter of all things haha. Awesome stuff.
Prelude was $300 btw.
Enjoy:
Warning: Some language is involved... so don't watch with the kiddos around.

Vid is workin now
Turn down your volume.
Car

Ugly engine

Working on that intake...

What we removed (and theres still one more piece way under the intake manifold)

Ghetto-licious

x2

Basically he was like "heres my garage, lets figure out a way to make an intake" so I used his old 90º bend, some couplers and T bolt clamps I found, and that huge blue flexible pipe you see there and went to town. Had to cover a hole for an IAT sensor from his Buick he had (Gen 1 L36) and also used the black rubber line from that install too. Also had to use a piece of rubber from an old eGay intake pipe to slide under the coupler on the throttle body to make it seal better, and had to bend the nipple above the throttle about 15º to get out of the way. When we disassembled the stock intake pipe we found it to have a K&N cone filter
It was all in a stock assembly so I can only assume these preludes used cone filters? Pretty good for '89.... But anyways have at it. It was ghetto parts, free of charge and hell, I had fun lol.

Where did that car come from...It looks exactly like my roomates old car. He sold it to some kid for like $100 when I was going to school at Wyotech (an hour west of Piittsburg) and I heard that kid had sold it again
