I borrowed a neighbor'* digital camera which can take videos with SOUND (mine doesn't have sound) so I could share it with you guys. I found out the hard way that this camera only records 15 SECONDS of video and that'* it. I was hoping to get a vid up to atleast 70 but I guess that isn't going to happen. enjoy anyways I guess. the outside temp when this vid was taken was 93* with 38% humidity and I was running 89 octane gas.

EDIT: I didn't actually gun it until around 29 MPH. You can probably tell that anyways but I'm just making sure.

Good lord torque steer is HORRIBLE on these cars! I wanted to beable and keep the camera straight as I was recording but as you can see directly during and after the burnout it pulled hard to one side so I had to quickly correct it. lol. Sorry for such a bouncy camera. It'* hard to keep it steady with one hand while you're trying to battle torque steering with the other hand. I think there is probably a good 30 foot or so black mark from that stop until the tires stopped spinning at around 20-25 MPH. it was a pretty decent run. The road I did it on was on a road will settled pea gravel (excellent traction until you gun it and it'll tear the road up.) I wasn't expecting the tires to break loose like they did. Throughout the whole run you can still hear tiny stones flying from the tires which were stuck on them from the road being torn up. lol.

Nothing special, just recorded varying ammounts of throttle during acceleration. lol. I only floored it once, and that was at the very end. when it'* moderate acceleration from 2,000 to around 4,500 RPM, that'* half throttle.

I ddin't. the camera refuses to record more than 15 seconds of video at a time. :( I was trying the camera out to see if I wanted to buy it.. I don't think that I do. it'* governed at 140 (Z rated tires) but I've never driven it over 120 MPH and even then I have no intention to ever drive faster than that..

That Shortstar engine sounds great!
