It goes up to 199 and then if you go faster than 199 it starts flashing. But don't ask how I know that, because I won't tell.

No, actually I saw a guy with a GP do it on a dyno, I have the video of it somewhere I think.

A bonneville has gone that fast at bonneville. Remember the GP had no wind resistance. Wouldn't be able to do it in the real world without some major aerodynamic work and gearing.

Oh, I know it couldn't do it on the street. The gearing is way too crappy, and that particular car didn't have close to enough power anyways. But that Bonneville that did 202mph was completely gutted and 600hp and had different gearing. There are much easier ways of going 202mph. Besides, who would ever need to go that fast.
