BTW, mine is around 7-7.5 seconds. Timed it numerous times with my friends G-timer. In 94 degree weather with 100% humidity, it is 8.6 seconds. In 69 degree weather and no humidity it varies between 7 - 7 and half, depending on incline. Its not too bad but the warm weather kills it.
I have yet to do it on a cold start...i dont like going fast until its warmed up a bit. Cold starts are very fast though.
What was the outside temp in that vid?

Have you ever hooked up a scantool and looked at the actuall shift points, shift speed, actuall Vehicle speed, actuall engine RPM'*, and TPS percentage / voltage?
You should at least be able to run out 5500 before it shifts... I think in the 95 servive manual it shows fuel cut off at 5600 Rpms, for the L36 its 6200...
Keep in mind that you have a 2.97 ratio and the L36 has a 3.06 ratio...
You should be able to shift at 45-50 from first...
I run second in my L36 untill 87mph... Got some not so great video I should edit... Somewhere the vid shows me stop and then go, runs to the red and shifts at 47 or so...
