Default 2014 Captiva HVAC issues

My wife drives a 2014 Chevy Captiva that is having some HVAC control issues. It will not change the heat over or the mode from Feet/Face/defrost, etc. This same thing happened a couple of years ago, I replaced the HVAC control unit (dash part with dials) and that took care of it. Now that it'* doing it again, I ordered another control unit and that did not do it:( Therefore, I replaced the blend door actuator, and that didn't work either. I'm suspect of the control unit that I replaced, because I can't imagine having both the blend door and mode door actuators going bad at the same time? Am I missing something? Could it be a bad BCM?
Thanks in advance for any advice/help you can offer!
Brian

Do a reset and listen for the doors to open and close.
AC reset
Turn the system on full cold Max AC.
Radio OFF.
Turn ignition OFF.
Pull the HVAC (AC) fuse(*) from interior fuse box. Leave out for 1 minute and replace.
Turn key to run/on position....NOT start.
Do not touch any controls. You'll hear the doors (actuators) being opened and closed. The HVAC module is learning the full open and full close positions. Wait until the system is completely done with the learning process. Less than a minute.
Start and test the system.

Well, I tried that with no luck. Tried what I found as "logic reset" as well (disconnecting battery and holding negatvie/positive terminals together) with no luck. So I either have a bad climate controller module (including new one I replaced), three bad actuators (mode door, blender door and new one), or there is something else going on. Does anyone know if the HVAC controller runs through the body control module? Any other ideas?

You would do well with a good scan tool. See what the HVAC module is up to. Do you have a wiring diagram?
