Default 2019 GMC Sierra Intellilink screen changes when it should not.

My 2019 GMC Denali HD Duramax Diesel'* Intellilink screen has a mind of its own and changes radio stations and moves around other options on the screen without being prompted to, does anyone know the fix for this problem, my truck only has 17000 miles on it. Thanks in advance for any help.

It could be a defective touch screen.

First, set the HVAC and audio how you have it when it does this to you, then, from your Infotainment manual, follow the instructions for turning off your display:

Now, go about your activities like you normally would when it does this weird stuff. Does it turn the screen back on and then do weird stuff again? If so, it'* likely that you have a flaky touch screen.

From my experience the Human Machine Interface Module (HMI) is usually the culprit for this concern. Probably gonna need to be replaced
