2003 Silverado 4.8..... just today we started having a problem with the instrument panel in a 2003 Silverado.... the Battery, ABS, and Airbag light all came on simultaneously. Then we noticed that our scanner would come on when connected to the ALDL but it would not communicate with the computer..... usually I have found a problem with the cig./auxiliary power fuse....BUT found the fuse just fine and plugging something into the cigarette lighter/aux. power worked just fine..... what else could cause this problem??...... I additionally checked the alternator power since the battery light was on and it was putting out 14.35 volts....... I have attached a picture of the instrument panel lights....

I can't remember which power ports are on the same fuse as the OBD2 connector. I suggest you check fuses.

This thing runs fine, just has the lights?

Yes, runs fine.... just the dash lights are on, and the radio does not work and the drivers window does not work....but the problem is intermittent.

I'd clean the grounds.
