Default Information On Installing A Factory Aluminium Oil Pan

1997 Chevrolet G1500 4.3L "W"

I had my Long Block rebuilt For my work van. I am about to reassemble it and put it back in the vehicle. All the videos I found was with steel pans, done in somebody'* yard or garage, engine in the vehicle. I think it has a silicone gasket that fits in a groove in the top of the oil pan. I would like if someone could direct me to a video or tell me how much RTV Sealer to use. Unfortunately, it has been out for a few years due to health problems, but I need to get it back in there. It would really be great if it didn't leak anywhere after I get it back in.

Thanks in advance

The instructions that come with the gasket should tell you. If it is the kind with a silicon gasket on a plastic or metal backing then you probably don't need any.
