Default 2012 Lacross Dies Randomly - Odd Start Up Message

Car ran fine form months but now has started to just die randomly. I let it sit and it will restart, but just die within a minute. When I restart it...I get a message to roll down passenger window. Did that put it in reverse...and died within a minute. Waited again, restarted and this time it says to roll down driver window. Died again. Does it on spare set of keys as well.

Any help/ideas?

That is one strange request.....

Scanned for codes, especially anything to do with the TAC system(motorized throttle system)?

You say you wait awhile before attempting to restart?

It won't restart right away?

What happens if you slightly step on the gas pedal and try to restart?

If it starts, what I would do is hold open the throttle plate(this is the TAC system), clean the plate and the mating bore with a rag with carb cleaner on it......

Then with key out of the ignition, disconnect the neg bat cable first and then the pos bat cable, and then hold the two cable ends together for one minute......then reattach pos first , and then the negative cable.....start car and see if problem returns...

Sounds like the BCM is trying to learn where the windows are or somesuch. Perhaps loose battery terminal or ground?
