I have a 2002 Buick LeSabre Custom and am in the process of ordering a new headlight assembly. (both sides). Two different web-sites show a price of over $300 for a 2002 LeSabre Custom.. but only $177 for a 2002 Buick LeSabre Limited..! These cars have the exact same body style. Shouldn't i be able to install the Limited assembly'* in my Custom??? tks.. Pat

Just checked rockauto.com, assemblies range $65-85.

The only possible difference I can think of would be cornering lamps.

Going to try and dive a little further.

rj: Thanks for the info. Yes, I believe the Limited version does have the cornering lamp in the assembly but other than that they are exactly the same. So i wonder if I can use the Limited version in my Custom? Sure seems like i could. Tks again. patrick

rj.. thank you sir. You were a great help for sure. I ordered both assembly'* for my LeSabre Custom from JCWhitney for $177.00 (free shipping). I ordered the Limited version as they were MUCH cheaper for some reason. The only difference is the hold for the extra cornering lamp bulb on a Limited.. other than that they are exactly the same and my wiring harness hooked right up. Everything works and they look terriffic. Bottom line: the Limited and Custom assembly'* are interchangeble. kind regards, patrick
