Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone out there has done any suspension mods on this 91-93 vintage of caprice? What I would like to do is replace the rear upper and lower control arms and add a thicker rear sway bar with front sway bar to match. There are many suppliers of these replacement parts. Has anyone had good or bad luck with them? Can Impala SS suspension parts be used, if so with how much modification? With Impala SS lower control arms, a 3/4" longer arm is offered. Has anyone used one of these? Any input is appreciated.

my best guess would be to yank em off an impala..they may be beefyer

You could look for parts off a 9c1 Caprice (cop car). If you're not you are looking at a cop car, look at the RPO sheet and look for B4C on it. That is the RPO number for police package.

Here are some brands to look at Hotchkis, Energy Bushings, BMR, UMI, Addco, and Moog.
