I'm new here!
I have a 2001 Buick Lesabre LTD with the rear air ride system.
The rear shock leaked oil and I bought a set of replacement shocks that were a superseded number.
The shocks are different than the originals. they look like these in this thread.

They reqire a minimum of 25lbs but the system is set for a residual pressure of 7-14lbs, this causes the shocks to deflate and droop.
The air bladder rides on the shock rod and is not attached to the upper mount so it floats.
My issue is how to make them stay inflated.

It is the factory unit.
I am going to change the ride height sensor position and if that does not do what
I want they will be changed to the Monroe air shocks.
I should have went with them to begtin with, would have been cheaper to boot.

Odd, I have never heard of this one before. Where the shocks would loose pressure and droop when they are new. Are you sure the o-rings on the lines sealed up properly? I typically lube them lightly before connecting.
