Mine is pretty brash as well, and it took the Forum years to get a handle on me. No worries. People just have to get a good grip on how each member is wired and friendliness counts.

Thats a real biggie here and got my foot slammed in the door many times. It can be hard to keep that in the back of your mind all the time when Posting. Once people know you better, it becomes easier to move along. Ribbing people on the net is walking a tight rope. It will often come off as harassment. Things like your thread and the discussion help. I do admire your ability to both see it and come out and discuss it being neither defensive or hostile about it onesweetride. It takes integrity to accept, and discuss things when they point in your direction. And I'm no angel in that Dept. No one is.

back on topic:
all is good, just remember the basics and more importantly be yourself. we are all a family here and always willing to help each other out!
Written communication versus face to face communication is void of body language and voice inflection that can differentiate intent and meaning. It'* something we all need to stay reminded about.
I admire your open apology onesweetride and your interest in the forum.

I never did the pen pal thing. But I did do FIDOnet, ARPnet, WWIVnet, and a few others.
