i have the 94 ssei with the m62 eaton. what are silencer ports and if i block them off will they make my */c louder .... if so does anybody have pics so i can see where they are located at

The slots are the silencer ports. On a M62 these will be smaller, this is a M90


And here they are welded shut.


Is it worth the effort to do? Not really. The only difference I hear is at idle, it'* kind of a power steering pump kind of whine all the time. Hardly noticeable.

thanx dan i appreciate the advice im in love with the whine this is my first blown bonnie im gonna try and get my hands on a 99 or newer model when taxes come around this year i want something that i can modify a little more than the series 1

Best way to make it whine is with a FWI, then start modding
