Default Engine quit during operation

This my first post and have used this site for many of the issues that we as GXP owners have experienced. I started off the day with the keyless entry not resetting my seats and mirrors, a short distance later the engine just stopped (no sputtering, just died) I immediately restarted the engine and moved about a car length and it died again. I let it set for a couple of minutes and restarted and since then I have not experienced any reocurring issues. Took it to the dealer and they check it out with no codes being stored indicating a problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem so I have a direction to explore.

Probably not a bad idea to check your fuel filter.

The GXP'* PCM is so complex and does so much, I think sometimes it just doesn't load all correctly. This may be a chip issue. My '05 LaCrosse has similar issues and it'* peculiar that both have Delhi chips. They reflashed the LaCrosses and then admitted it was a faulty chip and did a Recall. So it'* the only thing that makes sense to me. I have had the seats and mirrors do what they want, do nothing, and do what they are supposed to. I have had the no start/then start issue. I have had the low water alarm for no reason and then not after restarting. Compass always losing it'* direction, just to find itself again. Unless one of these things becomes a constant problem, I see it as a programming issue we wont get resolved. Unless somebody proves something causes death, or GM loses a ton of money in a lawsuit, we wont be seeing any further help or recalls from GM. And Pontiac? It doesn't exist anymore. They didn't even leave a help desk when they bailed out. LOL........ but not.

Also keep in the back of your head the ignition switch- have seen the exact thing happen on late 1990 GM products from a ignition switch starting to intermittently fail.
