Default Can't wait for my christmas present for Bonne comes in

The other day I ordered a Viper 5901 remote start/security combo and a PassKey 3 bypass

I have used this same model on my buddy'* GTO, it has som really nice features: 2 way paging so as when something happens with the car the remote will tell me exactly what, said to have a 1 mile range, with houses and trees we got about 1/2 mile out of it, and my buddy got the field disturbance sensor so if you peer in the window it chirps to warn you and if you get in through an open window the whole thing goes off, that I will buy and install myself, the rest I am taking to a professional installer

I'll be sure to post some videos of all the fun toys it has, I hate going out to a cold car so this will be the end of that, it has a feature that will tell you the current cabin temp so you know when its nice and warm inside

I got a Remote Starter last Christmas. I doesn't have any fancy extra'*, but it in itself is an awesome thing. Never have to scrape windows or get into a cold car.

I used to have the 5901 until I switched to the Python 1091. Sweet unit! It has everything the 5901 has plus HD Color Screen, Rechargeable USB 2way and D2D through a DLPK (in a nut shell cleans up the install, a lot less to hook up, it stands for Data 2 Data.

the DLPK talks to the BCM through the Factory Data lines to work exactly like the factory remote, keeping the factory Alarm features as well. (some cars dont have Rearm wire, or only arm with switch while door is open)

I would never buy anything but a DEI product (Viper,Clifford,Python, etc.) for my vehicles. They've came a long way in the past couple years, and there'* a lot of junk out there, including sorry excuses for an installer.
