Default Manual Override to open Trunk, 94 Bonneville

Trunk key does not work...never did. The battery is dead so I have no power...the release button on the drivers door will not work with no power...

Is there an emergency manual trunk release someplace? They have for the hood but not the trunk....

The real kicker is....my battery charger is "in the trunk"....I can't get to it...

I've been searching online for answers for hours on how to manually open the trunk....not a thing!! Anyone know a way that doesn't require a crowbar?? HELP!

you could unbolt your rear seat? thats the only thing i could think of. thats no good though. anychance you could get a jump or something then get your charger out?

Unfortunately the manual override is the key.

Another idea is opening the pass through and feeling around for your charger. Likely it'll fit throught the pass through w/o you needing to pull the seal.

you could find someone to hook jumper cables to our car and that will give you power to open the trunk.
