I have a 96' pontiac bonneville and i was just curious if you knew how much it would cost me to have a shop rebuild an engine and transmission in my car. the car has a 3.8L V6 (not supercharged) engine. if you have any info on costs please let me know! thanks J

It is expensive. Frequently more expensive than say buying a Jasper remaned unit for both.

Most folks would try and keep the costs down by going with a used motor/trans. Car-Part.com is a good way to locate these things.
