Default Ghetto golds on the PA?

OK, I am in need of wheels for a set of slicks. Need stock size 16"*...
So, what I need to know is, has anyone fitted 92-99 gold crosslaces on the 00+? If it fits the 00+ Bonnie, it should fit mine, but I wanted to throw it out there before I spend money on them...

If you were going for slicks, why not shoot for the 5 spoke alloys? The lightest wheels there were?

Or am i wrong?

I'll try them if I can find them, but ghetto golds are far more common in the junkyards.

We can try a test-fit if you're interested. We'll have a couple 2k'* here in a week, and two sets of crosslaces as well.

(For those that don't know, the gold and silver crosslaces are very light).

Not sure if it will be to late or not, but I have an extra set of gold crosslace rims just sitting around. I would sell 'em to ya for a good price without shipping if you make it up to the Michigan meet in June.

Actually, I remember someone having a set of black painted crosslace rims on an '00+ with chrome lugs. Running them for winter iirc. Let me do a search and see what I can dig up

****EDIT***

Here it is, it was Hans

I have a set of Monte Carlo 5 spokes that are very light also (and cheap), they can be seen here

My 92 & 93 wheels will fit on the ’00.
(I am in the process of repairing the chrome swoops and temporarily have the older wheels on there right now).
