Is this on the 03 SSEi? When you get a chance, you can edit your Profile (top/right side of this page) and enter your year/trim level there...it will show up on all of your posts automatically then.

Which fans don't come on? The cooling fans for the radiator, or the blower fan? Does the engine get up to temperature? Does the outside temperature read properly? At what temperature do you have the inside set?

if you suspect ur blower motor is bad, you can hook it to 12v directly. if it works, its probably the relay. if it doesnt work with a direct 12v then uhm well, you know, its bad

i got it to work, the fans were jammed, i kicked it, yup, good old American ingenuity.
i started up the car this morning, and something like out of a movie, i kick the bumper, the fans flip on, so i brougt it to the shop, and he said that there was nothing wrong that he could find, that the plastic probably just warped in the cold. thanks tho guys.

oh, and ya i gotta get my junk up, coming soon.

Mike, the two fans will run when commanded by high coolant temps or if your AC controls are set to Auto (any time the AC compressor runs, the fans should too).

Kicking the bumper would have had no effect on your heater blower. That fan is located in the firewall.

How cold was it in Chicago when that happened? Is there a chance that moisture got into the Climate control blower and froze? Was it even freezing at the time?
