FWIW...without getting into too many specifics...I wouldn't suggest doing a Whipple. From what I've read, it'* not a proven power adder for the 3800 yet. There might be one or two GTPs that have run it successfully (at least that I'm aware of.) It'* kind of a running joke on ClubGP.com. (Search on Whipple.)

Anyway, just my two cents.

If you are set on replacing the M90, go with a GenV M90, or a MP112 (not sure if still being sold).

I know you are speaking of Vendors and I also don't think anyone is offering that kit anymore. But someone on 3800pro is selling a kit with a IC

hears M112 is overkill on price for the power gains.... or something like that. There was a post about all this I read a lil while ago.... I think willwren was the author?

the Whipple is supposed to out perform those. supposed to out perform even an intercooled Eaton. swapped the M90 out of a stock GTP and put on the Whipple with no changes and it ran a 13.3 1/4mile. the Whipple isn,t a normal blower like the M90 which forces more air displacement in. the Whipple is a compressor. it actually compresses the air in the supercharger housing. read the w-body write up on it

You do realize that for the price they want for that whipple, you could get a Stage 2 package installed at INTENSE($2,699+labor)?
Or a Stage 1X pkg($999+labor), plus a GenV(Email Ed Morad for a good price), and an intercooler?

That Whipple costs $3,299.99, and it isn't going to make anywhere near the difference that the two options I just mentioned would.
