If you want power, then turbo is the way to go. A ZZP Z7 Turbo kit only starts at $2,500. For 3,200 you could have the bigger turbo and the air to air intercooler and with a little more add a INTENSE turbo cam! If you look at the other 3800 powered cars, the fastest cars that are in the 12 to 9 sec range mostly run turbos.

go for it...standing out from the crowd isnt a bad thing...and yes it does sound awesome...even with just a 3.8 pulley at 192kpa at 80mph in 3rd gear with 58* iat'* last night (and we didnt go over 5500rpm!)
it'* my buddy eric'* 98 WhippledRiv just a few small things, LS1tb, LQ4, VS, stg2ic, mech ic pump, ps headers, aeromotive fpr and custom made aluminum fuel rails, LIM ported for stock heads but he is getting IS3 heads and cam and the 90mm FAST Tb is almost here right now him and a guy in crete Il (97 riv turbo) are going after the fastest Riviera
so yeah...erics lead foot and the luxobarge now deffinatly need the 3.11 geared aurora 80e swapped in
boy it'* purdy though aint it? (btw thats the older 2300ax got it for 2300$ with ~100-200miles on it but it needed TLC with the crossthreaded bolt holes and cleaning/repolishing) i dont have a pic of it on the car with the polished IC and polished fuel rails

That Whipple costs $3,299.99, and it isn't going to make anywhere near the difference that the two options I just mentioned would.
They recommend that you get all that before you get the whipple anyways, so the cost is ~$6k to do it right.
