Default .MOD files, what reads it?

My JVC Everio camcorder records video on a MOD file format...I have been having trouble getting any of our computers to read the file/play the video. So far I can only do that by playing the video through the camera on the monitor or TV.

Wondering what program to use, so the computer will play it without the camera...

I wanted to post some track clips of the Bonneville...and photobucket doesn't accept .mod

Did a quick google... looks like there are a few programs that convert .mod to .mpg. Look around for a converter.

Can you change the extension to .mpeg?

well at least photobucket reads it

video seems stretched vertically...but w/e, the camera is actually wide screen...That was a 16.7 run, not one of my best by far. She was running hot + hot weather
