Under my C:..documents and setting/my name/local settings/temp. Do i need any of those temp files at all.. or can i delete them all?
No definately not! you should purge them every so often as it can slow your computer down.
Easiest way to get rid of them is:
(On the top of Explorer)
-Tools > Internet Options >under "Temporary Internet Files" click "Delete Files"
(This may take some time if you have alot of crap built up)

In case you haven't noticed yet, these files are where all your site logins are stored. So if you have any sites that automatically log you in (my.excite.com, etc) you will have to re-log in when you go back.

Thanks for the help. But i'm not talking about my temparary internet files. I delete those often. There is just a floder marked temp. That has the floder Temparary internet files in it. Can i delete everything in there?
You should be able to. I usually do and notice no problems. If there is a folder called Temporary Internet Files, do not delete it. If you do, Windows should recreate it automatically, but better safe then sorry.
The folder you are talking about is ususally just full of junk left behind by installs and other programs that was supposed to be deleted anyway, but never seems to.
Speaking of which....
