Default Ok my turn for a hi-flow..

I was under the impression that typically an N/A SE would have a 2.25" inlet/outlet for the cat. However, when I measured with a crescent wrench, I got 2.5". Then, just for good measure (pun intended), I took a tailor'* tape measure around the pipe and divided by 3.14... I got 2.54". So I am assuming that my stock is 2.5" diameter. Is this normal on an SE? While I know there have been varying measurements all over the club ni this respect, I just thought I'd throw this out to the group and see what ya'll had to say.

I know that the car was originally sold with the tow package. I am planning on ordering a Magnaflow Hi-Flow cat tomorrow from HoganPerformance.com.

Thanks.

Do you have the RPO "N10" on the SPID? If so, you have the GM high-flow exhaust with 2.5" pipe and the dual exit muffler, 2 exits on the right side of the muffler.

In my case, the factory exhaust on my 92 NA and my 93 SC are both 2 1/2"

Nope, no N10 RPO code. Also, it'* a single exhaust.
