looking to add a little more power

i was wondering if the oem ssei supercharger is a direct bolt on and if not how much other work is involved and how complicated is it?

sorry to say what everone else will but do a search yea you can convert but you hurt reliability big time mostly your transmission and PCM changes must be made to accomodate the boost if i were you id just go buy a l67 and trans and drop it in believe it or not you;d actually save money

Now that is the truth....

You could drop an M62 on there... But you'd have to add the double path balancer/dampener... And all of the brackets and the like to go with it... as well as an 4T60-E HD.... And then the Programing and the like.... But the time you are done it would have been cheaper and easier to do a complete swap

I feel that the L27 has a good bottom end, But I am not sure how well the Pistons would hold up... The L67 pistons are Coated from the 2nd ring land groove on up, Supposedly hardened.. They also use floating wrist pins where as the L27 has Pressed wrist pins... so there are differences even tho the block and the crank is the same
