I was going to go back and look at that GP GTP again and have been talking to someone about their SSEi and today the guy I bought my Sable off of wants it back. Hes got an '00 SE his father gave him (has a few problems) that he wants to trade for it (plus I gotta give him some $$)

Also.. what year is the sable.. remember they had tranny problems for quite a while.

'00 problems - I haven't looked at it yet but was told the gas tank leaked and the rear window didn't roll down (regulator I'd assume) Price is unknown at this point too.

The SSEi has no known issues and is clean. I haven't driven it yet though.

The 01 GTP needs a closer look. It has 120k, the ABS light is on and I need to check the undercarriage and the VIN since someone noticed the emblem wasn't sitting quite right.
I haven't driven this one yet either nor checked the SC.

My 95 Sable needs a muffler and a front right stut, it clunks. Runs great for a car with 177k on the 3.0.

The GTP is out. The dealer totalled it this weekend when the transmission went or slipped into neutral and he was looking down and playing with the shifter as het steered right into a telephone pole. Sold it for parts for $800.

But he did have this 94 in decent shape but won't sell it. He says it has too many problems for him to sell to anyone atm. he did mention if I had a dealer friend, he would sell it to him. Anyone nearby a dealer? LOL

Hmmmm..... Might wanna ask what the problems are. Maybe try and convince them to sell it possibly cheap.

He said it leaks gas & brake fluid, the windshield is cracked (it is) and the hood won't open. I DID try to talk him into it but he wouldn't budge. I'm thinking he was trying to do me a favor by steering me away from it. There may be more that he'* not telling.

If a stealership won't sell it, I'd back away, faaar away.

bah.. its just problems he doesn't want to deal with and being a dealer he'* GOT to cover the car. I can understand his position. The car does run excellent btw.
