Laura and I are off to Chicago for a romantic get-a-way and to celebrate her birthday.

Won't be back for 5 days and won't be on line the whole time.

It'* a Vacation away from everything...........even my Bonne. :(

We had a great time.
No Oprah for me.....although I did see her Penthouse suite downtown.
Dinner and entertainment cruise in the Spirit of Chicago. What a glorious city at night.
Met up with some business friends who paid for drinks and dinner. He owns his own business and drives.................I'm not kidding...............a 360 Modena. At the time he was driving his wifes Escalade so no ride in the Ferrari. :(


Bill was right again.

Broken beer bottles littered the yard on our return home. My wooden sundeck railing is toast.

I almost puked when I went into the bathrooms......and that was after they said they cleaned up.

Major consequences.

Entertainment on the ship.
Got to ride on the Metra trains. They have 11 double decker rail lines that run like the spokes on a half wheel into the city center from all the out lying neighbourhoods. Each line is about 40 miles long. It'* a huge city.

Wicked was playing a one of the theatres. Good.

Only saw two Bonnes the whole time and they were basic models with no options.
