went to walmart, and got one of them $60 dvd player/home theater system walmart specials.

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4810706

in all, it is a respectable system, but knowing what i know know, i should have saved up to spend $150 or better. but, i want to make it work. thing i want to fix the most is the lacking bass. looking for a powered sub for ~$50. nothing too big, just enough to get the job done. another option i have is perhaps finding a mono amp for around the same price range. i also have a good ole 10" woofer, but nothing has the balls to drive it . if i could get enough power to that, it might work. looking for something that plugs right into the wall for power, whether it be amp, or powered sub. looking at prices, i cant find any powered subs under $100, but i cant find any amps that fit the criteria either. any help would be nice.

From what I have read, you either want to buy a powered sub for around a 100 or build one for the same price right?

Heres soemthing you might want to take a look at.

70 watts would be perfect for that ten inch sub you have and will sound pretty decent too. Or you can look at their powrred sub setups which are not much over a 100. Just search "Powered sub" on the link above to take a look.
