Default Ignition key & Engine Stop ..!

Hi guy'* , A couple months ago i got a 96 bonnie , and lately Im having 2 situations

1- When I turn the ignition key to start , I get power but no crank . i get this once in a while , after a few attemps the engine starts.

2- This sitution happen twice today : while driving the car the engines stops.! in each i pull over and the engine starts ok , I dont want to happen while im driving at 65+in the highway.

Any help :?:

Disconnect both battery cables and remove the rubber boots. Clean all the corrosion, and grease it up with dielectric grease, then reinstall the boots. After that, go to the ground locations and do the same by following the negative cables.

This will solve all your problems. We see about a dozen of these a month in the winter with exactly your symptoms.

It'* amazing how many issues can be fixed, or at least narrowed down, by just making sure you have a good battery or battery connection, ain't it??
