Default 92-95 to 96-99 Headlight switch over (planning)

Im looking for a Pic of the bracket that hold the Headlight Assembly to the car, Not the plastic peace that comes with most of the head lights but the Metal peace(*) that bolts to the Rad support.

-thanks

Not exactly pics directly of the braket itself, but you can see it in these pics of my trans cooler install. Held on by three bolts.

Actually..the headlight bracket or the second part of it is laying on the ground under the headlight in that pic.

Correct. I was thinking the bracket that that other bracket bolts to...you know... the doo-hickey that connects to the thing-a-ma-jig.

If my suspicions are right...Badnit is going to need both brackets. They will both be needed to complete the swap. And I think the fender curve is a little different for the corner light.

I too would think that both parts would be needed. On the corner light, there is definitely a different shape. Not sure if the old corners could be used with a newer headlight. Others have done this swap to a 92-95, right?

more important is what he is going to do with the Fender....the 96-99 have the bracket for the corner and the HL on the same piece...the Corner light WILL not fit in the 92-95 fender, and there are also a few more things that he needs to make it all fit....this is not going to be easy the way that Ryan is approaching it....

IM going to use my current Corner lens, and put the 96-99 head lights in, I did a test fit int he yard with Geoff, it fits

The Head lights when you buy them new like i am, come with the bracket thats on the headlight as seen in Bobs pic

the metal peace thats on the car still is what i need, or what i need to make

buy them, it will be well worth it. You may also need a lower mounting plate that the bottom of that plate mounts to IIRC.

Ryan the way that the 96-99 HL is made....it has to have the corner light area on the bracket....that is where it gets it support...as you can see there is only 2 mounts, closest to the Rad...the other mount is where the HL bracket fits into the Fender....you simply cant cut off the Corner light part of the bracket....it will not work

and also the 92-95 corners donot match the 96-99 HL, there is a large difference between the 2

test fit all you want, but making it happen is a different story
