To do 6th grade homework :?:

1) 4:55pm: Get out of work to go pick up my son at the afterschool program
2) 5:45pm get home with said son and change out of work clothes.
3) 6:15pm Son starts Science Homework (14 Questions)
4) 7:38pm Science home work done :?

5) 7:40pm Second Science Homework Assignment Started (2 Questions)
6) 8:07pm Second Science Homework Assignment Completed

So technically it took almost 2 hours to complete 16 questions.

I feel like god has punished me and is torturing me for something Ive done in my past.

Welcome to my life....... I work in a school all day, no I am not a teacher, I am a teacher'* aid and I work with the students who need a little extra help. So today I worked with 5 students, one of them happened to be my own son, there was one boy, I asked him to get 1, that'* right 1 question done......Did he get it done, nope, I even sent him to the office to get it done, he sat and did NOTHING for half an hour! No, I did not leave him sitting there for half an hour, I checked on him every 5 minutes and he did not do a thing. Then I had to come home and help my son with his homework, that I had assigned for him :? So I have been working on school work for the last lets say 5 hours, plus I do respite care for an autistic boy in my home every day after school for 2 hours...........Now I am typing out notes to all of Jessia'* teachers to let them know that she will be missing 7 days of school because we are off to Disneyland (I love saying that) I am not done my day yet, there are lunches to be made, baths to draw, laundry to get done, and then I get to do it all over again tomorrow!

Okay end of rant

It took me a long time to realize that. I want to come home at the end of the day and do nothing cause my work is done for the day. Eventually realized that a mom doesn't have a quitting time, she doesn't get vacation days or sick days, and the pay aint that great either,
Much repsect to all of the mothers around the world who do what they need to do to take care of their families.
p.*. Being a dad ain't always the easiest either, especially when mom aint a good mom.
