oil change question

hey i have a question for u all, i dont drive my car much anymore and is it safe to not change my oil for like 6 months (guess) i only drive on the weekends and its just around town and im thinking that its gonna take forever to get 3000 miles. so is their a date i can go between oil chages? cuz they useally say every 3 months right?

6 months would be pushing it for Dino oil. If your using synthetic then thats ok.

Personally, I don't have a problem with this AS LONG AS.......when you drive the car on the weekends, you get the car up to operating temperature. This usually means the water temp reaches approx 195 degrees.
