Default Straighten your wheels

Not hijacking the other topic..

Vital and Logan.. chime in here..

I'm the same. I want the wheels straight when the car is parked. That way there'* no question when you hop in the start moving.

(helps with quick getaways too)

The only time I turn my wheels when parked is if I'm on a hill. Otherwise my wheels are straight and I always, always, always use my parking brake no matter what

I'm just weird like that. The wheels always have to be straight. If they're not, it makes the car look unperfect.

No offense to anyone here, but those who don't do it, make me think they're lazy.

The only time they're not straight is if I'm taking pics....and we all know how often I do that.

ok what is the deal here...are you saying its bad for the car? or just because you have some weird *** case of OCD? jk Bill, but seriously, is there a real reason for this? because when I am in a parking space I ALWAYS straighten my wheels, but when I'm just parkin on the side of something, like I did in my sig...I really don't pay attention..plus the DMV tells you to turn your wheels till they're cocked to the curb when parking uphill or downhill...so what about that?

So is this much bad?

The way I see it.. is you don't necessarily remember where you left them.

If you start moving and the wheels are turned.. and someone is standing close to the car.. "Ooops..sorry about your toes..hope they grow back."

If you have an emergency and jump in and try to take off quick.. near a building or something ..you could hit it...

And in the case where I am helping my mechanic buddy... you are always jumping in a customers car for a brief time. No need to adjust the seat or mirrors.. and when they get in..you want them heading straight..
