Default Dump Valve

ok here it goes i put a cold air intake in my car with an electric supercharger behind the air filter. is it possable to put a blow off valve (dump valve) between the intake and the charger and have it dump the pressured air when the charger is turned off??? or something like a dump valve, all ideas are a help

you do realize that that "supercharger" is actually HURTING your flow right??

well i did ALOT of research befor i got it its only turned on at full throttle, it workes great exept the quick shut off when decelerating thats why im looking into some kind of blowoff

This has been talked over on here, and they do absolutely nothing. Believe it or not, at WOT, the "electric supercharger" is actually most likely being outflowed by the engine. You are better off returning it and getting your hard earned money back. And even if it did provide a HP gain, it would only be 1-2 HP MAX.

If you got one of the little electric fans that goes inline with the filter and TB, your engine is flowing more CFM'* at wide open throttle than the fan can provide. It is a restriction at all RPM'*, whether it'* on or not.

Return it.

The only electric supercharger that WORKS is the Electric M62, but the weight you carry in batteries is enormous.

The E-ram is a marketing joke and a farce.

well i dont know but i didnt get an answer for my original question. an answer for that will help and i will continue looking into the Electric Supercharger problem that you gues say there is!

Which electric supercharger do you have? Does it actually seem like you can feel a power increase when it'* turned on?
